Nico Cape was born and raised in North Ridgeville, Ohio, a small town just 20 minutes outside of Cleveland. He graduated from North Ridgeville High School and went on to get a job working for Delta Airlines at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Few years later Nico felt the call to serve our country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. In the Marine Corps his occupation specialty 7242, was to process immediate air support requests, integrate fires, manage air assets, and control aircraft. While in the Marine Corps Nico was also fortunate to be recommended to work with the Chaplain as his assistant/religious programs specialist. His Chaplain was a professor online at Liberty University (LU) and that is how Nico was influenced to start bible college. After two years of pursuing an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies and volunteering as a youth leader at his church, he took the guidance of his pastor/mentor to transfer to Mid-Atlantic Christian University (MAC-U). This is where he currently studies and is in the pursuit to finish his degree and achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Biblical Studies. After 5 1/2 years of faithful service, Nico was honorably discharged as a Sergeant of Marines, and ended up coming to Broad Creek!
Nico met his beautiful bride Stephanie in high school, and they ended up marrying one another a few years after. They are going on 5 faithful years of marriage and they have a sweet baby girl named Callie Caroline!
Nico is a loyal Cleveland Browns fan, he is athletic and loves almost any sport. He is an outdoorsman, but he specifically enjoys duck hunting with his dog Bella (black lab). He loves to be out in God’s beautiful creation and recently started getting into photography. Nico really enjoys music and playing instruments.
Ultimately Nico has a great passion for God and strives to put him above all things! He loves to study God’s word and desperately wants to conform to be more Christ like everyday. Nico desires to serve and lead others to Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit!
